Alison Tauber is a graduate of the textile & surface design program of the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After graduation she worked in the textile industry for several years as both a designer and stylist. In the spring of 2008 Alison started her own line of products including screenprinted clothing & accessories and fiber art housewares.

Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY Alison has traded in her big city ways for a quiet life in the moutains. Drawing inspiration from the abundant nature right outside her door she uses various mediums through which to explore her artwork. Having been trained as a textile designer and printmaker, she uses these methods combined with age old techniques such as embroidery and appliqué to create one of a kind and limited edition art pieces. By using vintage and up-cycled materials Alison aims to create eco-conscious products that are both functional and beautiful.

All housewares are handmade by Alison and all clothing items are hand printed. Alison uses water-based inks for printing and most of the clothing items are organic cotton. She tries to reuse and recycle materials whenever possible.

Outside the studio Alison enjoys walking in the woods, scouring thrift stores for hidden treasures and hanging out with her wonder pup Dexter.
